5 May 2009 – Epson has announced the launch of the Epson Stylus S21, a single function inkjet printer for the home. Combining a stylish and compact design with cost-effective individual inks, the Epson Stylus S21 has been developed to meet the demands of everyday home printing.

The Epson Stylus S21 is perfect for printing documents, letters, web pages, emails and lab-quality borderless photos at home. With the highest print resolution in its class and print speeds of up to 26 pages per minute^[1], the Epson Stylus S21 will print on a variety of media delivering perfect results every time.

It is cost-effective too because the Epson Stylus S21 uses low cost individual ink cartridges, so you only need to replace the colour used. These individual ink cartridges are easily identified by the ‘Monkey’ image^[2] and are also available in a convenient, cost-saving multipack.

The Epson Stylus S21 features Epson’s DURABrite Ultra Ink, an advanced pigment-based ink technology that encapsulates the ink particles in a protective resin coating. This makes the ink resistant to water, smudging and can be used with highlighter pens. It also produces superb text definition and lab-quality photos which can last over 200 years^[1] when stored in an album.

For the best quality photos, Epson recommends its range of glossy photo papers. Available in three finishes – Photo Paper, Glossy Photo Paper and Premium Glossy Photo Paper – the 3, 4 and 5 star rating makes choosing the right photo paper simple.

In addition to a compact design, the Epson Stylus S21 comes complete with Epson PhotoEnhance and Epson Easy Photo Print which enables users to easily adjust the colour and contrast of images and remove red-eye from photographs with the click of a button.

The Epson Stylus S21 is an Energy Savings Recommended all-in-one which reflects Epson’s ongoing focus to reduce the carbon emissions associated with the use of its products.
