5 May 2009 – The new Epson Stylus SX115 is a compact printer, scanner and copier with individual inks. It offers the highest printing resolution in its class and uses Epson DURABrite Ultra Ink to produce high-quality documents and lab-quality photos.

A perfect solution for the home, the Epson Stylus SX115 uses low cost individual ink cartridges offering affordable printing as you only need to replace the colour used. These individual ink cartridges are easily identified by the ‘Monkey’ image^[1] and are also available in a convenient, cost-saving multipack.

The Epson Stylus SX115 features Epson’s DURABrite Ultra Ink, an advanced pigment-based ink technology that encapsulates the ink particles in a protective resin coating. This makes the ink resistant to water, smudging and can be used with highlighter pens. It also produces superb text definition and lab-quality photos which can last over 200 years^[2] when stored in an album.

With a PC-free copy function and a new push-scan button for automatic scanning, the Epson Stylus SX115 can copy and scan up to A4 quickly and easily, and the bundled Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software enables users to edit text from a scanned document. The Epson Stylus SX115 also includes Epson Easy Photo FixTM which helps users restore colour and correct backlight when scanning old photos. In addition Epson Easy Photo Print is included to adjust colour and contrast and remove red-eye with the touch of a button.

For the best quality photos, Epson recommends its range of glossy photo papers. Available in three finishes – Photo Paper, Glossy Photo Paper and Premium Glossy Photo Paper – the 3, 4 and 5 star rating makes choosing the right photo paper simple.
