The precise selection of protection features varies from model to model, but the Stylus TOUGH line includes cameras that are resistant to damage from crushing, drops / shocks, immersion in water, and even freezing. After watching the video series, we reckon Olympus might want to add "kidproof" to the list.
The children involved seem to have great fun putting the Stylus TOUGH line to the test, and the cameras survive being thrown and stamped on at the playground, soaked in aquariums and fingerpaints, and even covered in ice cream and chocolate syrup. Hopefully their parents have been able to persuade them not to give their other home electronics the same treatment...! ;-)
