Andreas Becherer Engineering today released version 5.6.1 of their media asset management solution CDWinder for Windows. Offering new features like integrated geotagging and video thumbnails, and improving performance and stability.

CDWinder now creates previews for video files, has its own built-in 3D-GeoTagger that also geotags azimuth and tilt, and offers a new Locr-Upload feature. CDWinder also has an improved Find function, up to 20% faster than before, and remembers the last query you used, and the last path you cataloged. And there are a lot more features and enhancements.

CDWinder for Windows works on Windows 2000 or higher and is tested on Vista and the upcoming Windows 7. There is also a version for Macintosh called CDFinder, available as Universal Binary for Power PC and Intel-Macs. The demo version of CDWinder is unlimited in time, but restricted to 25 catalogues. A single user license is 29 Euro / 39 USD. Multiple licenses for business or network use are available, and priced depending on the number of clients and features required.
