Casio Computer Co. Ltd. has released an updated version of its YouTube uploader application that ships with a variety of the company's EXILIM-branded digital cameras.
The Casio YouTube uploader aims to simplify the process of uploading videos recorded with the company's YouTube Best Shot mode to Google's popular video-sharing website. Version 2.0.1 is available for computers running Windows 2000 SP4, Windows XP SP2 or SP3, and Windows Vista. The only change listed in the release notes for YouTube uploader v2.0.1 is that the application now allows for uploading movies to a YouTube account which was created from an existing Google account.
Changes made in the previous v1.0.1 and v2.0.0 versions have also been carried over to the new release. These include support for YouTube account names containing non-alphanumeric characters, a new movie preview / thumbnail screen, and an increase in the file size limit to approximately one gigabyte.
