Designed with two extra-low dispersion and two hybrid aspherical lens elements, the Samyang 14mm f/2.8 lens is capable of focusing as close as eleven inches (28 centimeters). The lens has 14 elements in 12 groups, and will be offered in Canon EF, Nikon F, Pentax K and Sony Alpha mounts. Field of view is 114° when used with a 35mm full-frame SLR, 92.5° with a Nikon, Pentax or Sony APS-C DSLR, and 89° with a Canon APS-C DSLR.

Pricing for the Samyang 14mm f2.8 IF ED MC Aspherical lens has not been disclosed at press time.
