Japan's Fujifilm Corp. has launched a new section of its FinePix.com compact camera website aimed at underwater photographers.

The Fujifilm FinePix Lagoon microsite lists items in the company's product lineup intended for use underwater, including the waterproof Fuji Z33WP camera, and the SuperCCD EXR-based Fuji F200EXR (for which the company offers a waterproof housing). Features of each product that make them suitable for underwater photography are highlighted.

In addition, the FinePix Lagoon site has a section dubbed the Enjoy! Marine Island, where the company offers tips for new underwater photographers. The tips are split into two sections - preparation, and capture. The prep section offers advice on how to prepare your camera and place it into a waterproof housing, while the capture section offers advice on common underwater shooting issues, and suggestions on how to position the camera and your own body.
