The most recognized and respected names in graphic art, digital photography, motion graphics, and Web design set to appear in New York City October 22-24

Hoboken, NJ (PRWEB) October 21, 2009 -- John Wiley & Sons, Inc. will be present at Photo Plus Expo this year and will bring dozens of new titles as well as some award-winning authors for live demonstrations in their booth, 558. The PhotoPlus International Conference +Expo 2009 (PPE) will take place October 22-24 in New York City at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

Two Wiley authors will be making presentations at the event. Kevin Ames is a well-known commercial digital photographer who has written several Photoshop and photography books. His company, Ames Photographic Illustration, has done work for Honda, AT&T, and Westin Hotels. He also writes the "Digital Photographer's Notebook" column for Photoshop User magazine, and is a Photoshop World Dream Team instructor.

Ames will be presenting on "Light, Exposure & Lenses" on October 22nd at 8:45 a.m. and then again on "Fantastic Portraits: It's All Smoke, Mirrors & Photoshop" on October 24th at 8:45 a.m.

Rick Sammon will present on "Exploring the Light" on October 24th at 3:30 p.m.

Sammon has published more than 34 books and DVD's, including Studio and Location Lighting Secrets for Digital Photographers, Rick Sammon's Digital Photography Secrets, Digital Wedding Photography Secrets, Rick Sammon's Canon EOS Digital Rebel Personal Training Photo Workshop DVD, Rick Sammon's DVD Guide to Using the Canon EOS Rebel XSi/450D and Rick Sammon's DVD Guide to Using the Canon EOS Rebel XS/1000D , and Rick Sammon's DVD Guide to Basic Lighting and Portraiture; all of which will be available at the Wiley booth.
