PRESS RELEASE: Southern California Photo Expo Announces Media Partnerships With Orange County Register And KOST-Radio
Local Media Giants to Promote Photo Expo with Special Newspaper Section, Radio Spots, Giveaways, and Incentives to Encourage Community Participation
Anaheim, CA. – November 23, 2009 – PMA, The Worldwide Community of Imaging Associations, announced today it has signed partnership agreements with the Orange County Register and Clear Channel's KOST 103.5 radio to promote the Southern California Photo Expo at the Anaheim Convention Center Saturday, February 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The photo expo will showcase the latest in digital imaging products from the world's leading manufacturers and offer presentations and workshops from world-renowned experts who will share their secrets for taking better photos. The media partnership with the OC Register and KOST radio includes several educational, interactive and promotional components to raise awareness about the event.
To promote the photo expo, the Orange County Register will produce a special section of the newspaper dedicated to photography, complete with tips on taking better pictures, a list of scheduled presentations and workshops at the Expo, and discounts on expo entry and exhibitor products and services.
KOST radio will air a series of 15 -second spots during the weeks leading up to the show to promote the event and special events. In addition, KOST will offer a Scratch-and-Win sweepstakes online which will provide listeners a chance to win several exciting prizes and discounts to the Expo, streaming commercials across all eight Clear Channels stations in Southern California, event updates in their weekly e-newsletter and the KOST "street-teamers" will be on patrol throughout Orange County to pass out collateral materials and other goodies to lucky listeners.
