It was probably the simplest WiFi setup we've ever gone through.
We're putting the Kodak ESP 5250 all-in-one device through our excruciating holiday test suite (including bar-coded label printing of the family Christmas card list, instant-dry photo Christmas card production, and the Inevitable Eggnog Survival Test). Expect the full review to appear here Friday.
Meanwhile, have a look at our unboxing gallery, which details the hardware installation and WiFi setup of the attractive $160 black printer/scanner.
The whole process took us about 36 minutes, including our delicately balanced, one-handed composition of 42 photos and making notes for the review (also one-handed). Particularly impressive about the installation was 1) how easy it is to install the ink cartridges (rivaling Canon there) and 2) how easy it is to setup WiFi (unrivaled there).
Stay tuned for the full review!
