GOLDEN, COLORADO (December 22, 2009)…PENTAX Imaging Company has announced that Mark Sherengo has been appointed to director of digital sales. In this new position, Sherengo will lead all U.S. sales efforts related to PENTAX digital imaging products including SLR and compact cameras, lenses and accessories.

Mark Sherengo joined PENTAX in 2008 as the national e-commerce accounts sales manager. Prior to PENTAX, he held executive sales management positions at FUJIFILM U.S.A., Inc., Digital Arts & Science software, and the National Football League where he was a professional NFL photographer and helped develop the league’s initial photo library assets.

“Mark Sherengo’s photo industry sales knowledge and experience runs deep, and he has been a huge asset in developing our e-commerce strategy over the past 18 months,” said Ned Bunnell, president, PENTAX Imaging Company. “Now, in his role of director of digital sales, Mark’s experience and fresh, innovative approach to developing partnerships will help grow our business across all channels,” added Bunnell.

Mark Sherengo holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from UCLA as well as an associate’s degree in graphic arts from LA Trade Tech.
