Users Enabled to Easily Create Their Own “Remixed” Music Track from Multiple Songs

LAS VEGAS, NV - January 4, 2010 – (Virtual Press Office) - muvee, the pioneer and leader in home movie-making software and services, today announced at CES it will demonstrate the new music trimming feature included with the recently released automatic video editing software, muvee Reveal™ version 8. Fully integrated with the muvee Reveal software, the new Music Trimming Tool can be used with multiple music tracks¹ to create personalized musical collages that enhance the mood or action of the video. The demonstrations will be provided at muvee’s CES location, North Hall #N253, Pod #3402C. Booth visitors will also see demonstrations of the time-saving tool that can be achieved with muvee Reveal’s latest optimization of NVIDIA® CUDA Graphics Processor Units (GPUs) and the benefits of its new output to Apple’s iPod with automatic iTune sync².

The new Music Trimming Tool was developed in keeping with muvee’s commitment to taking the complexity out of movie making and making it easy enough for even the most inexperienced users. The company’s fast, automated approach also appeals to consumers who want to quickly create and share professional-looking home movies with friends and family, but don’t have the time to edit.

“In earlier versions of muvee Reveal, users were able to use multiple songs, they had to always start the song from the beginning,” explained Terence Swee, muvee CEO. “Now, with the new Music Trimming Tool, you can select the middle section of the first song, the last section of the second song, etc. and muvee Reveal will seamlessly stitch the multiple music segments together, automatically cross fading between the tracks. You can even ask Reveal to normalize the volume between music segments so you get a consistent sounding medley in the end to use as the bed for your production.”

muvee Reveal and the new Music Trimming Tool support all of the most popular music formats, including MP3, WMA, WAV and AAC (Quicktime® required). After selecting or creating the music track, muvee Reveal’s patented video production technology automatically syncs the user’s photos and video clips to the beat of the music.
