DSLR Camera Remote v1.3 is available immediately from the iTunes App Store, in two versions - either Lite or Professional. Existing customers can receive the new versions as free updates manually by entering the App Store, then tapping "Updates", and "DSLR Camera Remote".
The new version of DSLR Camera Remote adds support for the Canon EOS-1D Mark IV, Canon EOS 7D, and Nikon D3s digital SLRs. It also improves compatibility with the Canon EOS Rebel T1i DSLR, and with Apple's Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) operating system. Logging of network connectivity issues is also said to have been improved, and it should now be easier to use multiple options simultaneously with DSLR Camera Remote 1.3.
The new release of DSLR Camera Remote requires use of a corresponding release of DSLR Camera Remote Server 1.3. This update can be downloaded from onOne's website.
onOne Software's DSLR Camera Remote costs $1.99 for the Lite version, or $19.99 for the Professional version. The Lite version removes interval, burst or bracketed shooting, live view capture, the ability to zoom in on post-view images, and the ability to adjust shutter speed, aperture, exposure compensation, ISO, white balance, or quality.
