PRESS RELEASE: Facebook Photos Get Artistic With Pixable's Mosaic Posters
NEW YORK CITY – (February 11, 2010) – Pixable (www.pixable.com), the first online photo service allowing you to print your Facebook photos, announced the addition of photo mosaic posters to their product line today.
With Pixable’s photo mosaic creator, Facebook photos will soon take on a whole new form. The creator allows users to generate beautifully composed mosaics made up of hundreds of Facebook photos in literally just a few clicks. Similar to Pixable’s previous products, the mosaic creator is completely integrated with Facebook and allows users to use any of the photos already stored on the social networking site – even including those of friends.
“We’re just continuing to advance our vision,” said Pixable co-founder Andres Blank. “We believe Facebook users love sharing their photos not only online but also offline, and we think our photo mosaic poster is a wonderful and fun addition to our current set of products enabling them to do this. The photo mosaic poster is also an exciting addition as it’s a great product for not just the individual consumer but also for groups such as clubs, universities, and companies.”
While the photo mosaic creator is tightly integrated with Facebook, users can also use pictures from Flickr, Picasa, PhotoBucket or ones uploaded from their hard drive. With the array of photo options the creative possibilities for the photo mosaics are endless; users can use their favorite photos to represent a couple’s special moment, company or university logo, beautiful landscape, or message.
The photo mosaic posters are currently offered in 14” x 11” and 17” x 11” sizes with other sizes being available soon. The 14” x 11” size is printed, packaged and delivered all for $8.95. The poster is printed on acid free card stock and laminated with a UV coating. The custom photo poster is available only at www.pixable.com.
