Adobe has today published a teaser for the latest versions of its Creative Suite applications, which it has scheduled for launch on April 12th 2010.

The Adobe Creative Suite 5 launch site is running a countdown to the announcement, which will happen at 11AM Eastern time on the 12th. The launch itself will be streamed for the public on Adobe TV, giving potential customers a chance to see what's new in the latest Creative Suite 5 applications including Photoshop CS5.

If you'd like to watch the launch, you can do so by registering with your Adobe ID on the CS5 launch website, and the site also promises sneak peeks at the new features over the coming days. (Note that while we were initially able to load the launch site ourselves, at press time it had gone offline, perhaps swamped with early attempts to register. We'd suggest checking back occasionally if you're interested in registering to view the launch).

More news on the imaging aspects of Adobe Creative Suite 5 will be forthcoming on April 12th.

In related news, Adobe Photoshop Product Manager Bryan O'Neil Hughes has posted a preview of work done by Adobe Labs for a future version of Photoshop. The video shows off a new content-aware fill function that has to be seen to be believed. Just to be clear, we should note that nowhere is it suggested this capability will be in Photoshop CS5, but it's an exciting preview of a potential future feature nonetheless!
