DxO Labs has today released a range of new camera body and lens modules for its flagship photo processing application, DxO Optics Pro.

The camera bodies for which the company has offered new lens modules include models from Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Olympus, Pentax, and Sony. For Canon, camera bodies with newly available lens modules include the Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III, 5D Mark II, 7D, 40D and 50D, as well as the Rebel XT and T1i. The sole model for Fujifilm is the FinePix S5 Pro. Nikon shooters using the Nikon D3000, D300s, D40, D5000, D60, D70, D70s and D90 will also find a selection of new lens modules, as will Olympus E-520 and Pentax K-7 owners. Finally, the Sony A230, A330, A380, A500, A550 and A700 all have a selection of new lens modules.

DxO Optics Pro is available for Windows and Mac OS systems, priced at $169 for the Standard edition, or $299 for the Elite edition. For more details and to download a trial version, visit the DxO Labs website.

DxO Optics Pro to support 70 new lens & camera combinations

March 24, 2010 - DxO Labs announces today the addition of 70 new lens & camera combinations to its library of DxO Optics Modules for its flagship DxO Optics Pro automatic image enhancement software, adding extra lens support for:

  • Canon DIGITAL REBEL XT / 350D, REBEL T1i / 500D, 40D, 50D, 7D , 5D Mark II, 1Ds Mark III;
  • Nikon D3000, D300S, D40, D5000, D60, D70, D70s, D90;
  • Sony Alpha DSLR-A230, A330, A380, A500, A550, A700;
  • Fuji S5;
  • Olympus E-520;
  • Pentax K-7.

This new release brings the total number of available DxO Optics Modules to over 1900.

Availability and price
DxO Optics Pro v6.1.2 for Windows, both Standard and Elite editions, is immediately available from both DxO Labs’ e-store and selected resellers at the following prices:

  • DxO Optics Pro v6.1.2 Standard edition: $169 / 149 € / £ 99
  • DxO Optics Pro v6.1.2 Elite edition: $299 / 299 € / £ 199

DxO Optics Pro 6 for Mac is scheduled for release in May 2010 and will be available as a free upgrade to customers who have purchased version 5 or higher after June 1, 2009.
