The Joby photo contest offered placement for the winning photos on Joby.com and -- for the Grand Prize Winner -- in Popular Photography magazine. The grand prize winner also received the entire Gorillapod tripod line (Gorillapod Original, SLR, SLR-Zoom, Ballhead, and Focus), while five runners-up received a Gorillapod SLR-Zoom + Ballhead and Gorillamobile. Finally, two honorable mentions received a Gorillapod Original.

The Grand Prize winning photo was submitted by Daniel Remler, and is a vertigo-inducing panorama shot from the top of Paris' famous Eiffel Tower that cleverly uses the landmark's own shadow to reinforce the sense of height. Daniel's photo, along with those of the other winners and honorable mentions, can all be found on the Joby website.
