Henderson, NV - April 8, 2010 - DSLRU LLC (http://dslru.com), a new e-learning site for photographers, launched today. Ten courses starting at just $0.99 from award-winning photographers including Ellen Anon, Lou Lesko, John Ricard, and more are available for purchase.

DSLRU is a new type of website that aims to become the #1 knowledge base for photographers. Its premise is to provide high-quality content at a reasonable price so that photographers of all skill levels come to DSLRU first when looking to learn more about a particular photographic topic. DSLRU was founded on the principle that everyone can improve their photography by learning from others. The art, science, and practice of photography is not an innate skill, but rather one that can be learned through specific instruction at a bite-sized cost.

To celebrate its launch, DSLRU has teamed up with Nik Software for a raffle, offering a chance to win Viveza 2 or Silver Efex Pro. From now through May 14, each student will receive 20 entries for each paid course she purchases and one entry for each substantial comment he posts in the forums.

Furthermore, anyone who's an expert on a certain aspect of photography, from using a RAW converter to an esoteric technique, is invited to join DSLRU as a professor to publish and sell a course on that topic. By providing some of the most generous terms in the industry to its contributors and by handling the technical and business side of web site development, hosting, and payment processing, DSLRU aims to make it convenient, fast, and easy for a photographer to get her content online. Compatible with Mac OS X, Windows, Linux, iPhone/iPad (HTML5 video player coming soon), DSLRU is a great way to reach the world's photographers. See http://dslru.com/about/nowhiring for more information.
