April 12, 2010 - The Sigma Corporation is pleased to announce that, through collaboration with Adobe Systems Incorporated (Headquarter: Shinagawa-Ku, Tokyo), Sigma lenses will be compatible with the “Lens Correction” feature of the professional digital imaging standard, “Adobe® Photoshop® CS5” and “Adobe® Photoshop® CS5 Extended” software (hereinafter referred to as Adobe Photoshop CS5)” (Windows® version/Macintosh® version).

Adobe Photoshop CS5 has applied the aberration information of the current Sigma lens lineup*. When the improved “Lens Correction” filter is selected, it will provide accurate correction of aberrations automatically in accordance with each lens parameter. It is also possible to adjust or reset the compensation value of “geometric distortion”, “chromatic aberrations”, and “vignetting” after this processing.

Adobe Photoshop CS5 will apply optimum correction of aberration to photographers who own Sigma lenses.
* Concerning the compatibility of new lenses, please refer to the Adobe website.
