Fujifilm FinePix HS10 / HS11 firmware v1.01 includes four changes, all intended to improve image quality. With the previous firmware, the HS10 and HS11 occasionally exhibited pincushion distortion in AE bracketing mode. This has been corrected, as has an issue with reduced detail in some images. In the Raw+JPEG mode, JPEG images now have the same sharpness as their Raw counterparts. Finally, an issue with either image softness or sudden changes in color gradation when using dynamic range optimization has been fixed.

The new firmware for the Fuji HS10 and HS11 digital cameras is available immediately from the Fujifilm global website.
