Oakland, Calif. & Montreal, PQ, Canada April 28, 2010 – Mediaclip, a digital imaging solutions company and FlashFoto, Inc. an image and visual technology company, today announced that they have entered into an agreement to integrate the power of FlashFoto’s Smart Design technology into Mediaclip’s Product Creator Suite, enabling automated intelligent image cropping and placement..

FlashFoto’s Smart Design is the ultimate software library for placing images of people into complex frame shapes and for determining the optimal cropping location for printing images at different aspect ratios. Mediaclip will integrate FlashFoto’s Smart Design technology directly into Product Creator Suite, enabling the automated positioning of images during the building process for photo books, greeting cards and other photo gift products.
