Thirteen-Time Grammy Award-Winning Singer Alicia Keys Puts Samsung DualView on Center Stage
RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Samsung Electronics America, Inc., a market leader and award-winning innovator in consumer electronics, announced a partnership with thirteen-time GRAMMY award-winning singer, songwriter and musician, Alicia Keys to promote the widely popular Samsung DualView family of digital cameras. The new campaign leverages Keys’ recent hit song, “Wait Til You See My Smile,” to highlight the one-of-a-kind capabilities offered by Samsung’s dual LCD technology and how DualView cameras can give users the ability to truly capture once in a lifetime memories.
The new Samsung DualView campaign is part of Samsung’s “Dedicated to Wonder” communications platform, which kicked off earlier this year with the launch of Samsung’s 3D HDTVs. “Dedicated to Wonder” demonstrates Samsung’s pledge to create moments of wonder and delight for its consumers across its product categories. The campaign with Alicia Keys is centered on a 30-second TV commercial called “See You Smile,” which showcases a fan who dreams of the chance to take a photo with Alicia Keys. With Samsung’s DualView digital camera with LCD screens on the front and back of the camera, the fan captures a perfectly framed photo with Alicia Keys. The campaign will continue through May 27th with national exposure on broadcast and cable programming. The campaign will also be supported online and will encompass social media and specially designed POP displays for retail partners throughout the country.

Samsung DualView compact digital cameras, including the TL225, TL220, TL210 and TL205, feature Samsung’s dual LCD technology, with screens on both the front and back of the cameras, making it easier than ever for users to picture themselves in the fun. These innovative and award-winning compact cameras allow users to take great shots whether the photographer is behind the camera or in front of it, and they include Smile Mode, which automatically takes the photo when the subjects are smiling. The front LCD can also be used to frame perfect self-portraits and also offers some additional unique features such as Child Mode, which captures a child’s attention by displaying a fun animation on the camera’s front LCD, and the Self-Timer which displays a preview of the shot on the front LCD as well as a visual countdown timer so that everyone knows exactly when the photo will be snapped.
