Fujifilm FinePix HS10 / HS11 firmware v1.02 includes three new bug fixes. With the previous firmware, the HS10 and HS11 could display a battery level warning too early, and sometimes showed corrupted images when the zoomed image review function was enabled. These problems have both been corrected, as has as an issue with Raw files exhibiting lines in areas of slight color change.
The new v1.02 firmware also rolls in several bug fixes from the previous v1.01 release. These included a problem where the HS10 and HS11 occasionally exhibited pincushion distortion in AE bracketing mode, an issue with reduced detail in some images, a difference between Raw and JPEG image sharpness in Raw+JPEG shooting, and an issue with either image softness or sudden changes in color gradation when using dynamic range optimization.
The new firmware for the Fuji HS10 and HS11 digital cameras is available immediately from the Fujifilm global website.
