Now through June 20 2010, Pentax is offering rebates ranging from $20 to $100, depending on the camera model. Customers buying the Pentax Optio E90 through June 20th will receive a $20 instant rebate, while the Optio X90 and Optio W90 both receive $30 instant rebates. Finally, Pentax's flagship digital SLR -- the rugged, weather-sealed, and yet surprisingly compact Pentax K-7 -- carries a $100 instant rebate. Pentax also has instant rebates for savings of $10 to $20 on certain of its binoculars.

Olympus also has a variety of instant rebates on certain of its digital camera models, with savings of $40 to $75 on offer. Customers purchasing the Stylus-5010, Stylus-7030, Stylus-7040, Stylus Tough-3000, Stylus Tough-6020, or Stylus Tough-8010 will receive $40 off the standard pricing. The long-zoom SP-600UZ and SP-800UZ models both merit $50 rebates. Finally, the entry-level PEN-series single-lens direct view camera -- the Olympus E-PL1 -- attracts a $75 instant rebate. Olympus' rebates all run through June 19 2010.
