IRVINE, Calif.— June 14, 2010—Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America today introduced a matte finish setting for its CP3800DW photographic printer. The matte setting, which is standard with any new printer and available to existing users, adds value and performance by enabling the printer to do more while maintaining a low, affordable cost.

The upgrade is implemented through a firmware and print-driver upgrade and adds no additional charge in the media that is being used with the printer. Printers that are currently in the field can be upgraded over the phone, which takes about 30 minutes to complete.
