In the First Session of the New e:CLASS Series, Host Kevin Kubota Will Educate Attendees on Updated Workflow Tactics for Lightroom 3

The first e:CLASS will provide attendees with Kubota’s in-depth analysis of Adobe Lightroom 3, during which he will delve into new workflow-saving techniques unique to the latest version of the software. This first online class will take place from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. PDT on July 21, 2010 and will include a 30-minute interactive Q&A session.

Kubota previously produced an award-winning Workflow Tutorial for Lightroom, and has found several enhancements in Lightroom 3 that will provide important benefits to professional photographers at all levels of experience. Kubota will educate attendees on how to use new enhancements to Lightroom 3 that will directly impact photographers’ business and creative potentials, and assist ‘on the fence’ users in deciding whether the upgrade is right for them.

Examples of the Lightroom 3 features to be highlighted include:

• Speed: Lightroom 3 offers speed enhancements over Lightroom 2, but not all systems will benefit equally.

• Easily Import and Organize Video Files: Though there are some limitations to be aware of, Lightroom 3 tracks video files from events along with the stills.

• Online Publishing Services: Users can quickly and easily upload images to online photo host sites, as well as see and manage them all from Lightroom 3. The e:CLASS will cover how to use these sites in day-to-day business, including how to use an iPhone for an easily updated portfolio or for image backup.

• Image Quality Changes and Process Versions: Images should look even better in Lightroom 3, but occasionally this could change the look of the image compared to Lightroom 2. e:CLASS participants will learn how to avoid surprises and restore the original if the original is preferred.
