The new Bibble 5.1.1 adds support for the Sony Alpha A33, A55, A55V, and A560, as well as the Panasonic FZ40, FZ45, and FZ100. In addition, preliminary support has been added for the Canon EOS 60D. The update also allows Bibble to detect lenses in use for Sony and Panasonic Raw files, and fixes an issue with program crashes when printing images with certain plugins active.
Bibble 5 Pro supports Windows XP, Vista and 7, Mac OS X 10.4 or greater, as well as both Linux Fedora Core 6 or later, and Ubuntu 6.06 or later. The program can accept Raw files from a wide variety of manufacturers, including Canon (except sRaw), Kodak, Leica, Minolta, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax, Ricoh, Samsung, and Sony, as well as RGB JPEG or TIFF files at resolutions of 30 megapixels or below, with a maximum dimension of 10,240 pixels on the longer side. The full list of supported file types can be found on the Bibble 5 specs page.
For new customers, a trial version of Bibble 5 can be found in the Bibble Labs Download Center. Bibble 5 Pro can be purchased immediately, priced at US$199.95 for a license that covers all three operating systems. Bibble 5 Lite, meanwhile, is available for $99.95, with the license being on a per-OS basis. A full list of differences between the two versions, and further details on the program, can be found on the Bibble Labs website.
