Following on from last week's updates for Capture NX, View NX, and Camera Control Pro, Nikon has today released new versions of its WT-4 Setup Utility and Thumbnail Selector tools.
Just like the previous round of updates, the WT-4 a Setup Utility 1.2.0 and Thumbnail Selector 1.2.0 software updates both add support for the Nikon D7000 digital SLR on both Windows and Macintosh platforms. In addition, the WT-4 Setup Utility 1.2.0 update adds support for Nikon Message Center 2, corrects an issue with profile names exceeding 40 characters, and updates a menu option to reference View NX 2 rather than ViewNX. The Thumbnail Select 1.2.0 update also changes the default folder for opening images after transfer from ViewNX to View NX 2. In addition, both updates add or remove compatibility with certain Windows and Macintosh operating systems. The programs can now be run in 32-bit mode under 64-bit Microsoft Windows Vista / 7. They also now support Mac OS X v10.6.4, but drop support for OS X v10.3.9.
