Canon Inc. has recently issued updates for a wide variety of its digital imaging software, as well as a new firmware update for the EOS 5D Mark II digital SLR.
With the exception of the Canon EOS 5D Mark II v2.0.8 firmware update, none of the downloads are yet available from Canon USA, but English-language installers for both Windows and Macintosh platforms are available from Canon Europe. Digital Photo Professional 3.9.2, EOS Utility 2.9.0, Picture Style Editor 1.8.0, Original Data Security Tools 1.9.0, ZoomBrowser EX 6.6.0b and ImageBrowser 6.6.0b all add support for the new Canon EOS 60D digital SLR. In addition, the Digital Photo Professional, ZoomBrowser EX, and ImageBrowser updates add support for the PowerShot G12 and S95. Curiously, the DPP update also lists added support for the long-discontinued PowerShot G9. Rounding out the new model support, ZoomBrowser EX and ImageBrowser are now compatible with the PowerShot SD 4000 IS Digital ELPH, PowerShot SD 4500 IS Digital ELPH, PowerShot SX30 IS, and PowerShot SX130 IS point-and-shoots, and the VIXIA HF M32 camcorder.
