As with those updates, the new Sony VG10 firmware version 02 allows autofocusing when using a variety of Sony's Alpha-mount lenses via the LA-EA1 mount adapter, and this change also requires that the adapter firmware itself is updated to firmware version 02. No other changes are described in the new Sony NEX-VG10 firmware, which is available on both the Windows and Macintosh platforms. Customers using Windows XP, Vista, or 7 in either 32-bit or 64-bit flavors can find the VG10 firmware update here, while customers with Macintosh OS X v10.5 or 10.6 can find the update here. The mount adapter update is likewise available for Windows users, and for Macintosh users.
