Canon releases firmware updates for 7D and T2i

Canon has released new firmware versions for the EOS 7D and EOS Rebel T2i / 550D digital SLRs.

Available now via Canon Japan's website, EOS 7D firmware 1.2.3 fixes a couple of bugs related to operation with a Speedlite Transmitter and Macro Ring Lite. Rebel T2i firmware 1.0.9 addresses an image quality issue caused by Auto Lighting Optimizer in certain situations.
