PRESS RELEASE: 6Sight presents Mobile Imaging Summit at International CTIA Wireless® 2011
JACKSON, Mich. – 6Sight® Conferences LLC today announced its plans to partner with International CTIA Wireless® 2011 to host the 6Sight Mobile Imaging Summit at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., on March 22, 2011. The Mobile Imaging Summit will provide a snapshot of the technologies and trends in mobile imaging devices and applications that will affect camera phones for the next two to three years. Attendees will gain a clear vision from mobile imaging leaders on ways to advance their companies and products.
“International CTIA Wireless is pleased to bring the 6Sight Mobile Imaging Summit to the show as one of a series of partner events that address the issues at the forefront of the wireless industry today,” says Robert Mesirow, CTIA vice president and show director. “The mobile imaging presentation by Tony Henning was so successful last year that we invited 6Sight to return and extend their program for 2011.”
“6Sight has been the leading voice in the mobile imaging industry for the past nine years, bringing together executives from the top companies in the mobile and imaging industries,” says Joe Byrd, president of 6Sight Conferences. “Since the first Mobile Imaging Summit held in 2002, we have provided a first look at new mobile imaging technologies from wireless companies such as Motorola, Nokia, and Sprint, as well as imaging companies such as Eastman Kodak Co., Fujifilm, HP Co., and SanDisk Corp.”
6Sight senior analyst Tony Henning literally wrote the book on mobile imaging as the author of more than a dozen reports on the topic since 2001. Henning will present the “State of the Mobile Imaging Industry,” followed by panel discussions on “Camera Phone Devices and Components” and “Mobile Imaging Apps and O/S.” In addition, companies will present their latest technologies in New Technology Showcases, brief presentations of exciting and important developing technologies.
