Now one of the longest of the long zooms on the market, the Canon SX30 is a blast to use.
The size and shape of a small digital SLR, the Canon SX30, is a 35x, 14.1-megapixel digital camera with a swivel screen and image stabilization built in. Ranging from 24-840mm, the Canon SX30's zoom changes how you think about photography. You can selectively crop anything you can see, and the Canon SX30's image stabilization system does a pretty good job of getting you the shot, even if framing can be a bit difficult. The interface is Canon-simple, which means that if you've used a Canon in the past few years, you'll feel right at home with the PowerShot SX30.
