On the Windows platform, Nikon View NX v2.1.1 supports Microsoft Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Mac system support includes OS X 10.4.11, 10.5.8, and 10.6.6.

Nikon View NX v2.1.1 corrects an issue on both the Windows and Mac platforms that prevented display of images scanned with the Coolscan V scanner, when set to use the .NEF format. For Windows systems only, an issue with display of printer profiles created with X-Rite's ColorMunki Photo has also been resolved. In addition, an issue with XMP / IPTC information display that was specific to the Macintosh platform has been fixed.
