TOKYO, March 18, 2011 - Casio Computer Co., Ltd., again expresses its sincere condolences to the people of the Tohoku area of Japan in the wake of the major earthquake which struck last week.

In addition to the 10,000,000 yen previously announced, Casio has decided that it will donate additional funds to an aggregate total of 50,000,000 yen for relief efforts. It is the company’s hope that these rescue and relief activity funds will help those affected by the earthquake and contribute to the rapid reconstruction of devastated areas. The company will also donate a considerable number of Casio clocks for use in temporary shelters and other facilities while consulting with local task forces.

Donation amounts: 50,000,000 yen, contributions through a matching gifts program, and Casio clocks
Donation recipients: Japan Platform, a specified nonprofit organization, the Japanese Red Cross Society, etc.

Everyone at Casio sincerely hopes for the rapid recovery of those areas struck by the earthquake.
