A little under a year after announcing its five billionth photo upload, another billion photos have been uploaded to the service. The six billionth image, uploaded on Monday by 'eon60', shows a dew-covered Montbretia flower in the photographer's own garden, and was captured with a Panasonic DMC-LX3 digital camera.
Flickr notes that for the last five years, its uploads have been increasing by around 20% year-on-year. The site's second, third, fourth, and fifth-billionth images can all be seen linked from yesterday's blog post.
