Automatic focus, white balance and exposure help to avoid swapping between camera settings during a shoot, while the 150 degree wide angle lens is set to mimic human peripheral eyesight without the fisheye distortion that oftentimes accompanies wider angle lenses. Optional time lapse, triple-burst and self-timer modes can be set to take images at set intervals between zero and sixty seconds, while an optional video loop record can splice video footage into manageable 15 minute long intervals. Built in LCD and camera standby modes protect the battery life during downtime and allow instant reactivation of video or picture capture with the press of a button.

On camera LCD playback allows the user to skip, fast forward, rewind and even delete files to free up more space on the fly, as well as review footage to ensure the accuracy of angles and mounting positions while in the field. Sharing and recharging is easy with the built in built in HDMI, composite A/V and USB ports that allow users to upload video and share it via computer, high definition TV or standard TV. The included wall charger and car charger give the user more options for recharging, especially when a computer isn’t always nearby.
