Japanese digital imaging guru Yamada Kumio posts comparison photos from 3 high-end consumer digicams...
Mike's now in Orlando, Florida for the PMA show, and back online. Having checked a few other sites to see what was new, I spotted an interesting item on Yamada Kumio's digitalcamera.gr.jp website. No time for a full translation now, but Yamada linked to a comparison he's posted of Fuji's FinePix 6800 Zoom and FinePix 4700 Zoom digital cameras, as well as Olympus' E-10 SLR-style camera. Included in the comparison are two sets of images. Photos in both sets are listed from left to right and top to bottom as follows:
- Fuji FinePix 6800Z sunny, 2832 x 2128 pixels fine mode
- Fuji FinePix 6800Z cloudy, 2832 x 2128 pixels fine mode
- Olympus E-10 2240 x 1680 pixels SHQ mode
- Fuji FinePix 4700Z, 2400 x 1800 pixels fine mode
Expect our own PMA news coverage to start later this afternoon!
