Pocket-Sized Point-and-Shoot Digital Camera Includes SanDisk Card to Capture Digital Photos and Video Clips

SUNNYVALE, CA, May 22, 2001 - SanDisk Corporation (NASDAQ:SNDK) announced today that Nikon has selected SanDisk's CompactFlash(tm) cards for its latest ultra-portable digital camera, the Coolpix® 775. An 8-megabyte (MB) SanDisk CompactFlash card will be included with each camera.

The Coolpix 775 is the lightest pocket-sized point-and-shoot digital camera and is expected to be available in July at a suggested retail price of $449.95.

SanDisk CompactFlash cards are rugged, reusable, matchbook-sized storage cards that are available in capacities ranging from 8 to 512MB, with suggested retail prices starting at $34.99.
