Steve wraps up a busy week with the first review of Fuji's FinePix 2300...
It has been a while since Fuji's 2.1 megapixel FinePix 2300 digital camera was first announced back at the start of February, and when Steve's Digicams posted their review this morning we were surprised to realise that to the best of our knowledge, none of the other main sites had reviewed it thus far... The camera's fixed focal length, fixed focus lens may not provoke great excitement, but if you don't mind the absence of an optical zoom and want something simple, the camera's price-tag of $279 is quite attractive. Steve concludes: "The FinePix 2300 is a good 'entry level' two-megapixel digital camera for those looking for a simple and easy to operate camera that delivers good image quality. Under all but the harshest lighting conditions the camera delivers good image quality with well saturated and properly exposed colors. . If you're looking for a good starter digital camera or a stocking stuffer for a budding digi-photographer this is a good choice that won't break the bank."
