Kodak's 3 megapixel, 2x optical zoom 'EasyShare' camera reviewed by Steve Sanders...
Our friends at Steve's Digicams have now posted their full review of Kodak's DX3900 digital camera, a model whose announcement we recently covered on this page. Steve obviously enjoyed his time with the camera, noting: "This is a great camera if you're just starting out in digital. It has very good image quality and the 2160 x 1440 pixel size images will yield photo-quality prints on today's photo inkjet printers up to 8 x 10 inch size. There are a multitude of other smaller image sizes if you don't need to print the pictures larger than 5x7 or 4x6" Everything you need is in the box including software to view, edit and manage your digital images. Unlike other "entry level" digicams, the DX3900 Zoom has a Video Out feature so you can also enjoy your pictures on the television screen too. There is no learning curve with this camera, just put the batteries in it, turn it on and start enjoying digital photography today!" To the best of our knowledge, Steve's is the first DX3900 review on the web. It features the usual in-depth look at camera design and control, and an array of sample images - so if you're considering the DX3900, hop on over and get the whole story...
