Nikon: new firmware for 1-mount zooms

Nikon Inc. has today issued firmware updates for three of its Nikon 1-mount lenses, which were announced last September alongside the J1 and V1 compact system cameras.
The firmware covers all three zoom models in the series, all of which feature the company's Vibration Reduction technology, with only the 1 NIKKOR 10mm f/2.8 pancake prime not included in the update program. For all three zooms, the firmware updates seem to be related to the VR system itself, as Nikon notes that it has corrected an issue whereby images were sometimes blurred when being captured immediately after a sudden camera movement. Additionally, the firmware update for the two consumer zooms--the 1 NIKKOR VR 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 and 1 NIKKOR VR 30-110mm f/3.8-5.6--the firmware updates further correct an issue with the lens reporting the wrong aperture value to the attached camera body.
