Adobe has today finalized the latest updates to its Lightroom and DNG Converter applications, as well as its Camera Raw plugin, all of which were issued as release candidate versions a little over a month ago.
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3.6 and Camera Raw 6.6 / DNG Converter 6.6 all add support for the same list of ten camera models from eight manufacturers, as well as including new profiles for 34 lenses from six manufacturers, and for the fixed lenses on two further cameras from Canon and Sigma. In addition, several issues in previous versions of Lightroom and Camera Raw have been corrected.
In full, the list of newly supported cameras in Adobe's release candidates includes the Canon PowerShot S100, Fujifilm FinePix X10 and Ricoh GR Digital IV compacts, the Leica V-Lux 3 megazoom, and six compact system cameras--the Nikon 1 J1 and V1, Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX1, Samsung NX5 and NX200, and Sony Alpha NEX-7.
