The Camera Bag: Think Tank’s Retrospective 7 Shoulder Bag Looks Like a Great Fit for Street Shooters

We have camera bags up the wazoo but the ones we grab when we're in a hurry tend to have two things in common: they're relatively small and they're inconspicuous. Think Tank Photo, one of our favorite bag companies, just announced it will be releasing a new bag in May called the Retrospective 7 and it seems to fit those discrete characteristics.
Available in three colors/materials -- black polyspun nylon and blue slate or tan cotton canvas -- the Retrospective 7 is designed to fit a standard digital SLR system including a couple of lenses and accessories. There's also a rear pocket that can hold an iPad or an 11-inch MacBook Air and assorted small pockets to fit lens clothes, caps, etc.
No, this is not the type of bag you would bring on a major assignment or a two-week shoot but if you're heading out for a day of photography or trekking around with your camera while on vacation, Think Tank's Retrospective 7 keeps it simple and subtle. Weighing just over 2.5 pounds, this shoulder bag is designed to ergonomically conform to your body so it wouldn't bounce, jut out or get snagged.
The Retrospective 7 also has Sound Silencers that turn off the front flap hook and loop so you don't attract attention when you're grabbing you gear. There's a seam sealed rain cover to protect your photo gear in inclement weather.
No specific ship date in May has been announced yet for the Think Tank Photo Retrospective 7 but the list price will be $154.75.
