We had to check the calendar to make sure it wasn't still April Fool's Day when we saw this one. It's a massive Nikon 6mm f/2.8 fisheye lens and it recently went on sale in London for 100,000 British pounds (about $160,800).

According to Amateur Photographer, the jumbo fisheye lens was created as the "the world's most most extreme wideangle lens to cover the 24x36mm image area when it was unveiled at the Photokina trade show in Cologne, Germany in 1970."

The Moby Dick-sized fisheye weighs about 11.5 pounds and makes the SLR attached to it look like a tiny point-and-shoot. The lens comes with an equally imposing case. (See below.)

The Nikon 6mm f/2.8 is one of only a few hundred ever manufactured and is mainly designed for scientific and industrial usage. (Though we could think of a few landscapes and buildings we'd love to shoot with it.)
