The Camera Bag: Camps Bay Photo Backpack is Downright Handsome (and Practical)

We've seen a lot of photo backpacks in our day but few have been as tastefully handsome as The Camps Bay camera and laptop bag from ONA.
The pack, which is made from waxed canvas and detailed with dark "truffle" leather (ooo la la!), is also practical, with enough padded interior space to house a digital SLR with a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens attached; seven additional lenses; a 17-inch laptop and some smaller personal items.
The Camps Bay photo bag's interior dividers are removable and adjustable and there's a divider at the top of the pack to create up to seven inches of additional space for batteries, lens clothes, an original signed edition of "On the Road," or a flask of premium Irish whiskey.
The bag has a layer of air mesh on back to wick off the sweat you'll undoubtedly build up while trekking across an African veldt to photograph albino rhinos. Meanwhile, the pack's thick padded shoulder straps will ease the pain of humping $10,000 worth of photo gear on your back as you scale Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Yes, The Camps Bay photo backpack is just the sort of thing that might turn up in one those J. Peterman catalogs spoofed so memorably on Seinfeld. And while it's one of the pricier photo bags we've seen -- $429 (ouch!) -- you'll get a lot more use out of it than the infamous "Urban Sombrero."
