This is from a few months ago but, in case you missed it, it's definitely worth a look. The video is a "Leica Portrait" with award-winning street photographer Joel Meyerowitz, who pioneered the use of color film in capturing intimate slices of life of everyday people and scenes.
Meyerowitz' book documenting Cape Cod, entitled "Cape Light," is now viewed as a ground-breaking work for creating a resurgence in interest in color photography.
In more recent years, Meyerowitz documented the aftermath of 9/11 at the The World Trade Center site using a Leica and a 4x5 and 6x7 camera. In all, he shot over 8,000 images at Ground Zero.
Meyerowitz discusses his time at Ground Zero in this video interview along with the moment he decided to become a photographer after watching the legendary Robert Frank at work.
