Back in 2006, Sigma found an opportunity to market a lens no one else made - a telephoto zoom lens for the APS-C digital SLR camera, which provided a field of view similar to that produced by a 70-200mm on full frame. Six years later the Sigma 50-150mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM APO still stands alone, and continues to modernize its lenses by adding optical stabilization We've liked this lens in the past, but were very surprised by the results we found by putting the lens through its paces in our test lab.
