Sony A77 review finally wrapped, but we found a video AF issue

Our review for the Sony A77 has languished in an almost-finished status for months now, but we've finally tied it off. Or at least we have until we hear back from Sony on a significant video AF issue we encountered.
You can check the video page of our Sony A77 review for the details, but the gist of it is that the camera couldn't seem to track a relatively slow-moving, well-lit, easy-to-focus subject at all. We're particularly puzzled by this because the same AF system performed brilliantly in continuous-still shooting mode, clearly ranking as one of the best we've ever tested in that respect.
We've asked Sony to look into the issue and will update once we hear back from them. Given that the A77's AF system performed so spectacularly in continuous-still mode, and video recording uses the same AF sensor and processor, we're confident that the issue will be amenable to a firmware fix.
