Are you more than a little obsessed with cameras? If so, then this amazing poster is probably made just for you. Called "A Visual Compendium of Cameras," the 18 x 24-inch poster from Pop Chart Lab includes "100 landmark cameras, culled from over a century of photographic history."
Most of the choices are spot on -- the original Rolleiflex from 1929, a Nikon F from 1959, and a Canon 5D Mark II from 2009 -- while a few are suspect. (Why, for instance, include the fairly average Sony DSC-W360 from 2012?) The entire effect of the illustrated poster, however, is sheer camera geek joy.
Each print is signed by the artists and numbered from a first total printing that includes only 500 posters. (Get 'em while they're hot!) The posters are made from 100-pound, archival, recycled stock paper and printed on an offset lithographic press with vegetable-based inks. They ship packaged in a "custom Pop Chart Lab Test Tube," and sell for $22, which is a pretty good price, if you ask us. (You can also get it framed for $107.)
To see a fullscreen zoom of all the cameras on the poster and to order one, go to Pop Chart Lab.
